Form Your Teams and Register Before Walk Day!

This simple act has a huge impact on the success of our Walk. With pre-registration, the planning team has a better indicator of the attendance to accommodate. In addition, once registered, supporters of jdrf can contribute to your team with credit card online processing.  Online registration is as easy as clicking here: www.walk.jdrf.org.  Click on "Register Now", then choose State "Ohio" and "OSU Walk".  

When you register online you gain access to Walk Central, JDRF's online fundraising headquarters.  Through Walk Central you can create a personal fundraising page that will make it easy for friends, family, and co-workers to support you in the Walk to Cure Diabetes.    

Volunteer for Walk Day

There's no doubt about it.  The Walk to Cure Diabetes is a BIG event and it takes approximately 100 volunteers to participate on the day of the walk.  Set up, sign in, food stations, kids corner, and wrap up are examples of some of the areas where help is needed.  Take a look at the volunteer form to see the roles and time of day options.  We have something for everyone so feel free to pass the form along to friends and neighbors, too!

T-Shirt Submissions

 

We will, once again, be awarding a prize to the team with the best t-shirt design.  Family, corporate and school teams are eligible.  Be sure to bring a sample of your team t-shirt to the JDRF office before Walk Day or to the stage at the Walk.  Get creative with your designs!

Last year, over 85% of our Mid-Ohio Walk proceeds were donated directly to fund the cure.
